EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
or equivalent experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED: 3+ years in programming and data analysis (for Intermediate level).
1-2 years experience in programming and data analysis (for Associate level).
Proficiency with Python for data science.
Familiarity with relational databases, such as SQL
SKILLS OPTIONAL: Experience preparing, updating, and documenting analytic datasets
for a variety of statistical and computational techniques (e.g. network analysis, panel analysis,
panel analysis, general multivariate statistical modeling)
Experience with computational and machine learning packages (e.g. PyTorch, DGL, Tensorflow)
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 3+ years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Working with the Research Manager to prepare and manage client's
research datasets. Primary responsibilities will be data development, analysis, and visualization;
and support of internal and external researchers who are working with the data. You will bring robust
technical expertise and research experience to the team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for data collection, retrieval, and management.
Write scripts to download, ingest, and update large-scale publicly available datasets in a variety
of formats (JSON, XML, Flat files, API calls) from multiple sources. Responsible for Data analysis
and visualization. Responsible for hands-on data analytical work. Write, maintain, and revise programs
for data analysis. Demonstrate creativity in visualizing results, using Python, Tableau, or any other
data visualization tools. Deliver high-quality research support to external researchers using client's data.
OPEN POSITION: 10; (This posting may be filled from the Intermediate or Associate level
to expert level, depending on experience and qualifications.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 TO $130,000

WORK SETTINGS:(Modes of Work): Client offers an optional flexible hybrid work schedule
with supervisor approval (2 days in the office, 3 days at home).
