JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
or equivalent experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED: 3-5 years combined Mechanical Engineering and project management
experience required. Full working knowledge of CAD software.Experience with technical support of a
maintenance unit.In-depth knowledge of the following: General mechanical design, mechanisms,
dynamics of motion,stress and strain; Materials, finishes and protective coatings;
SKILLS OPTIONAL: 3D-CAD experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 5+ years
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Mechanical Engineer would manage capital projects, use AutoCAD
and design experience and partner with our maintenance team in a plant setting
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Design improvements in existing manufacturing equipment when requested,
in support of strategic business goals.
Prepare system/machine designs based on department & plant goals, process and production
requirements.
Determine specifications of necessary equipment and materials. Utilize CAD software to generate
concept and detail prints as required.
Develop capital expenditure requests for submittal and approval. Obtain costs and availability
of items specified and prepare necessary forms for submittal with economic justification data.
OPEN POSITION: 10; (This posting may be filled from the Intermediate or Associate level
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 TO $130,000

WORK SETTINGS:(Modes of Work): Client offers an optional flexible hybrid work schedule
with supervisor approval (2 days in the office, 3 days at home).
